My Story, Our History – One Man’s Journey Through Injustice to Triumph
I am Freddie Jones, author, and self-publisher of several books under the name “Great-Grandson of A Slave”. I was inspired to publish my Life Journey, which connects my family to slavery, racial injustices, and my escape from the slave-like plantation in Georgia, through several corporations, Vietnam, entrepreneurship, youth after-school training advocate, and to retirement as a Vietnam Service-Connected Disabled Veteran.
Although I faced many challenges and obstacles that were caused by racial injustices, the advice of my mother and grandfather empowered me with determination and courage to succeed.
